Thank you, everyone who contributed to the BBC Children in Need Appeal in November last year.  The Blue Coat School raised the excellent sum of £1161.77 for this very worthy cause.

Congratulations to Thomas Evans, 3W, who has been nominated for a Headmaster’s Award by Miss Merrill for a splendid Saxon shield that he designed and made over the Easter holiday.  Year 3 pupils have been studying this period of history and Thomas has put his knowledge to good use to create a remarkably sturdy, original design.Well done, Thomas!
