Kind-hearted Sofia who lost her uncle to bowel cancer in 2013 has been inspired to raise money for Cancer Research. As a young person she watched a perfectly healthy person disappear over a space of three years and this greatly affected her and the entire family.
Sofia discovered that people really liked her friendship bracelets and decided to sell them at a community event. She was astounded by the response and managed to raised £64. This has really spurred her on to do more for Cancer Research and she was delighted to receive a certificate from the charity in acknowledgement of her fundraising. Sofia believes that there is cure for cancer and wants to speed up the process by helping in any way she can. Well done Sofia!
