An Assembly for Children

We were delighted to welcome various visitors to Chapel this morning, all of whom have worked hard to help us to raise money and awareness of two charities providing help and care for children:

Mrs Gregory (Chairman of The Friends’ Association) presented Mrs Judy Dyke (Edward’s Trust) with money raised from our “Name the Owl.” competition held during our school Summer Fete. The charity works tirelessly to help families facing bereavement.

We also welcomed Mr Rob Wiloughby (former pupil) who works for The Children’s Society, a charity we will be supporting with the collection from our Lower School Advent Service. He told us about some of the projects that they run here in our own city to support refugee children and other young people facing difficulties and sadness.

Thank you Mrs Lambert-Green for helping to organize this thoughtful assembly.

Wrap Up Brum

We need dark coloured coats for MEN, blankets and scarves please!

Mrs Judy Dyke, who visited us this morning, has launched a Christmas appeal called “Wrap Up Brum”.
We can help her provide coats, scarves and blankets for the many homeless people in our city.

Please bring any donations in a bag to Reception …..check that they are CLEAN AND OF A GOOD SECOND-HAND QUALITY.

Many thanks
