Children in Need Activities in 1S

1S played ‘The Spotty Subtraction Game’ for Children in Need on Friday.

Each child had to pick a number card, throw a dice and subtract the smaller number from the larger one to find the answer to their subtraction. Whoever had the the answer with the largest number won that round and got to put a counter (a spot) on Pudsey Bear.

The winner was the first person to give Pudsey 20 spots. We had to work out some really tricky subtractions like 100 – 6 and 94 – 5!
