On Wednesday and Thursday this week, six very excited Transition and Reception classes performed their Christmas play, “It’s a Baby”.

The children have been working extremely hard for several weeks learning songs, actions, dances and speaking parts.

The story revolves around the very busy “Bethlehem Inn” where the Innkeeper and his wife – played by Ismaael and Lucy  are feeling the pressure of an inn full of noisy guests. When Joseph (Hugo) and Mary (Mani) arrive looking for a room, the innkeeper takes pity on them and offers them shelter in his stable. Overnight their special baby is born, leading to a whole range of unusual visitors, including Wise Men, Angels and even some cowboy shepherds!! The performance ends with a rousing song called “Hallelujah” which was enthusiastically performed by all the children.

Many thanks, to all the children and staff involved for their huge effort in producing such a marvellous Nativity.
