On Tuesday the children in Prep joined with the national Safer Internet Day 2017, looking at the theme “Be the Change – unite for a better internet.”
This year’s resources focused on the use of online images, an issue which has changed dramatically in the last decade or so.
Children spent time thinking through the decision-making process of what to post online and what it might unintentionally reveal about our identity, as well as the image we might be portraying and the consequences for others who are in the photos we post. Lots of good discussion ensued!
