It has been a particularly exciting week for the children in Reception. They arrived at school on Tuesday to discover a mystery ‘egg’ in the classroom, and suspicions arose as some children spotted what looked like footprints!

There was further evidence as we discovered photographs of two dinosaurs in Reception B’s classroom. On closer inspection, the children detected a crack in the egg – it looked like something was about to hatch! After careful monitoring throughout the day, and much excitement, the mystery was revealed: a baby dinosaur appeared!

Reception have had a fantastic week finding out about dinosaurs as part of our ‘Out of the Egg’ topic.
