In November 2016 nearly 80 000 pupils across England and Wales took part in the Primary Mathematics Challenge or PMC. The PMC is a test with multiple-choice problems which interest pupils and are mathematical. All of our Y5 and Y6 pupils took part in the Challenge and thirteen scored very highly and were invited to take the Final in February 2017.
Eleven pupils achieved awards in the Final:
• Ben and Maya achieved Gold Awards;
• Roshan and Matthew achieved Silver Awards;
• Henry M, Henry T, Rohan, Pranoy, Umar, Esa and Jovan achieved Bronze Awards.
