Have you noticed that in Pre-Prep the children have been full of beans this week? They have been bouncy and active for a very special reason. All the children have been involved in the Sponsored Bounce to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. In their PE lessons, the children have jumped, bobbed, skipped and vaulted their way through many activities.
In Year 1, a carousel of five activities were organised for the children to attempt. From jumping in sacks to bunny hops, the children furiously bounced for two minutes, before moving on to their next activity. The Pre-Prep gym was a haze of red, glowing happy faces as they all embraced these strenuous challenges. Everybody worked incredibly hard and although exhausted by the end, they were all very willing to help to raise money for this wonderful cause.
Well done Year 1 and Pre-Prep. You have bounced your socks off!!
Please collect your sponsor money now and bring it into school as soon as possible. Thank you.
