Louis in Year One has loved learning about elephants at School but found the idea of poaching for tusks really upsetting and totally unnecessary. So he wanted to find out more about endangered species and carried out some research at home.

Louis found out that the Moose is endangered in some states in America, due to poaching, climate change and other environmental changes. He wanted to do something to protect the Moose so he started “Moose Club,” to raise awareness of the need to protect wildlife. This week Louis invited his 1S classmates to join Moose Club and they plan to have a class cake sale to raise funds, which will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund. Great work Louis!
