The Blue Coat School is proud to announce that we received the ‘Gold Award’ for the work we did during National campaign ‘Drowning Prevention Week’ in association with Birmingham City Council and the Royal Life Saving Society UK.
All the children here at The Blue Coat School took part in some interactive water safety presentations, assemblies and practical water safety skills. We also received some truly amazing artwork from the children in Pre Prep, which encapsulated the project.
As part of this process, the school ran some water safety workshops for the parents and guardians of the children, these workshops gave a greater understanding of the content that was delivered to the children during the campaign and the importance of the message.
Special thanks to all the children and parents that took part in this campaign that awarded The Blue Coat School with the ‘Gold Award’.
