Thursday 28 September saw cakes galore at Blue Coat. Starting in Buttons nursery, then the staff rooms and culminating with The Friends’ cake sale and a silent cake auction we ate our way through mountains of cupcakes, brownies, biscuits and gave generous support to this worthy cause.
From sales earlier in the day in Buttons and the staff rooms we made £276.94 and this was further supplemented by an amazing £309.42 from The Friends. Money is still coming in so the total will still rise. We thank Louise Fitzgerald for her very generous donation of £45 for the beautiful cake made by Year 2 mum Li Raghavan.
