Year 2 have been very busy learning about The Great Fire of London and on Monday 9 October, White Watch — from Bournbrook Fire Station – came to visit our school.

Luckily, we managed to: squirt the hose; go in the cab and watch a video of when the brave fire fighters rescued and revived Buster the dog. We tried on their protective clothing, looked at the equipment and Gary (the chief) answered lots of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and he taught us a lot about modern fire fighting.
