Year 2 have been learning about Samuel Pepys as part of their Humanities lessons. They have been looking at his famous diary and have learnt to write a diary entry. Putting themselves in the role of Samuel Pepys, they wrote some brilliant entries using Chromebooks. The children were able to describe the sights of the terrible fire as eye-witnesses as it devastated London. They also had a good try at drawing a portrait of Samuel Pepys. A hard task but the children did a fantastic job! The classroom also has a wonderful display of their Great Fire artwork. They have thoroughly enjoyed the whole Great Fire of London topic and have done some wonderful work.
