The Fireworks Extravaganza has come and gone for another year, and what a fabulous event it was. There was a lovely atmosphere with children dancing at the ‘Disc-glow’, families tucking into all the food on offer – even the rain held off until later that evening! Special thanks to Shamaela Ahmed, Andrew Hodge, Nadia Ahmad and the whole of the Estates team for making it such a good evening.
And believe it or not, we’re now counting the days down to the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 25th November. Where does the time fly? Preparations are well under way now for the sparkling, magical ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ Fayre. The Grotto and the Secret Room presents are wrapped (all 600 of them!) ready for the children to choose what they’d like for Mum and/or Dad. Vicki Moodie has done a splendid job of sourcing unique ‘not off the shelf’ gifts so do remember to place your order soon.
Here are a few ways in which you can help in the run up to the Fayre:
- Bring a bottle for the tombola any time next week. Please take to the Houses or to the boxes in the Pre-Prep buildings.
- Bring donations of home baking for the refreshments stall the day before.
- Click here to volunteer to help on a stall.
It’s a lovely festive family event and we hope to see lots of you there!
