It has been a busy day of dressing up, cookie-decorating and generosity to help change the lives of disadvantaged children. Thank you to everyone who has brought in their pounds for Children in Need. Pudsie is proud of you, Blue Coat School!
Whole School Assembly
The whole school were treated to a wonderful assembly organised by the swimming department on the theme of overcoming obstacles. The Prep staff and House captains clambered and crawled their way through the Blue Coat obstacle course, cheered on by the crowd of excitable mini Pudsies. Would the pirates make it through the Sumo barrier? Relive our assembly below by watching the video.
The children in Pre-Prep have been looking forward to having a non-uniform day today in aid of this amazing charity. In 2M we have had quite profound and thoughtful conversations concerning some children’s difficulties in life and our thoughts have been with those who suffer, often in silence. We have made our donations to be able to wear ‘own clothes’ or Superhero costumes and will be having a day of activities linked to this theme.
Children in TR has been very excited today learning all about how Pudsey helps other children. They have been very busy building Pudsey a picnic area and decorating it with lots of Pudsey colourings and themed bunting that they cut out themselves. Children also worked together to make 2 giant jigsaws, but one Pudsey had no spots! So… the children made lots of spots to stick on him. Pudsey had a lovely afternoon playing in the picnic area with the children in TR!
