With just over a week til the Christmas Fayre, it’s all go! The Secret Rooms are stocked with 600 ‘not off the shelves’ gifts for Mums and Dads (there is still time to return your slip and money to your child’s class teacher). If your child disappears to their bedroom as soon as they arrive home next week you’ll know why! Santa Claus is looking forward to bringing gifts for well-behaved Blue Coat children, and has given the go-ahead to start building his Grotto on Monday.

Please keep the bottles coming for the tombola (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic) – there are boxes in the Houses, Pre-Prep and Buttons. St Monica’s Girls are running the stall so we need to keep them busy – but please don’t bring bottles on the day as it just gets too confusing! We’ll also be taking donations of (nut free) home baking next Friday: cakes, muffins, biscuits, traybakes, mince pies…

Please sign up to help on the day here – every bit helps and honestly is very much appreciated!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Fayre next week for what is always a fun and festive event for the whole school community – there is plenty for everyone including browsing for gifts, hot and cold refreshments, splat the rat, hook a duck, guess the weight of the cake, face painting, Christmas craft and mulled wine…
