On Friday 17th November the Blue Coat U9 and U11 cross country team travelled down to RGS Worcester to compete in the Cross Country Meeting. Thirteen schools were in attendance with over 140 pupils competing in each age group. It was a hard course with large fields, a few  long hills and some slippery, muddy patches. Our U9s ran a 1.5km course and the U11s ran 2.1km.
All the Blue Coat children ran exceptionally well, pushing themselves to the limit to try and get the best possible placing for their team. it was clear that the pupils dedication to the early morning sessions and park runs was paying off with Blue Coat setting the standard.
The U9 boys and U11 girls ran exceptionally well, leading from the front. Both teams managing to get 4 of their runners to finish in the top10!  No other team came close and both teams were rewarded with the team trophy. Congratulations to all runners!
