On Thursday 30th November, the U10 & U11 Girls and Boys Swimming teams competed at the King Henry VIII Invitational Swimming Gala. This was a late addition to the calendar, and saw a team of 16 BCS swimmers travel to King Henry VIII for their prestigious invitational swimming gala. Swimming against strong teams from Warwick, Solihull, King Henry’s, Bablake and Balsall Common, the Blue Coat team rose to the occasion and produced an incredible evening of swimming by winning 20 out of 28 events and finishing Top 3 in the other 8.
We finished the evening as overall winners, taking the Girls U10, Girls U11, Girls Overall, Boys U11 and Boys Overall shields back to school! The swimmers’ efforts during morning training have definitely made an impact and after their performances today they have done the school proud!
