On Wednesday we welcomed back a group of Old Scholars and friends of the School to a Christmas Lunch in the Boardroom. Some former pupils had not been back to visit for over 60 years so it was a real trip down memory lane.  After a delicious lunch from Holdroyd Howe, (who were multi-tasking and cooking Christmas lunch for the whole school at the same time!), Year 6 members of Chapel Choir sang carols and entertained our guests.

Our School Officials then spent time chatting and sharing memories with our special guests, before giving them a guided tour. The Old Scholars were able to tell the children where they had lived in the days of boarding and how different school life was in their time.  We were delighted that former headmasters Mr Browning and Mr Bissell were also able to attend. They were especially pleased to have the opportunity to join the Pre-Prep Carol Service later in the afternoon.  Looking at our photo gallery, some of you may recognise a couple of faces amongst our guests – yes, they are both current parents and former pupils themselves!
