Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Architecture Workshops today, learning about the Taj Mahal in India and building their very own version out of sticks and elastic bands! The pupils learnt how this example of Indian architecture was built and then worked together to create their own structure. They all cheered when they realised their hard work had paid off and the Blue Coat Taj Mahal stood proudly without any support! Thank you to Martin from Architecture Workshops for this inspiring visit.
