What a week it was for the children of Years 3 and 4! We had immense fun putting together our Lower School Production of Roald Dahl’s classic story Fantastic Mr Fox. The story of a sly old fox outwitting three hapless farmers delighted our audiences in the last week before half term. The energy and sparkle that the children brought to the stage was simply outstanding, especially when you think that these children are only 7, 8 and 9 years old. The set looked amazing with our 8 foot tree at the centre complete with the foxes hole! The costumes and make up were simply gorgeous and it was a delight to see so many children transformed into woodland animals. This year the children excelled themselves in their acting, dancing and singing and it was a great display of teamwork from staff and children alike finishing off this half term’s focus on teamwork! Special mention must go to Rishul Marrie, Poppy Brigham, Bertie Chandler, Freddie Trevis and Gabriel Bromfield as they have worked tremendously hard learning their many lines and dance routines! Well done Lower School!
