The Blue Coat School were delighted to welcome back the Young Shakespeare Company on Tuesday 6 March. They performed The Tempest to the children of Year 6 in a comical and engaging workshop, where they included many of our children for the roles. Our afternoon commenced with the majority of Year 6 pupils being involved in the voyage across turbulent seas. Once in costume, the children were encouraged to participate with lines and actions too. Perfectly executed by our amateur actors, the theatre truly did come to Blue Coat. The performance was enjoyed by all and we look forward to their return in the next academic year.
