Date: Tuesday 8th May
Result: BCS 88- 70 Egbaston High School
Most Valued Player: Anoushka Hart – For swimming in both the U8 and U9 events.
Report: Our first swimming gala of the Trinity saw a team of 15 girls travel to Edgbaston High School for an U8+U9 A+B event. Full of confidence we swam well, winning 9 out of the 14 events and displaying some outstanding swimming. Special mentions to the U8 A team consisting of Anoushka, Lucie, Caitlin and Lara who were undefeated across their relays and individuals. We displayed excellent team spirit and coupled with our great race skills, it was a pleasure to watch our girls in this event. Over all it finished Blue Coat 88-70 Edgbaston High School. A job well done!

U9C Rounders v King’s Hawford & Wolverhampton Grammar
Date: Tuesday 8th May
Result: BCS 3 – 3 Kings Hawford, BCS 3 – 2 WGS
Most Valued Player: Team Award
Report: This was the first match for any U9s this summer and we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was a triangular and not only would we play one school but two on this occasion. With Ariana as captain we played Wolverhampton Grammar first and slowly started to gain half rounders and these mounted up to score 3 overall. When fielding we had some steady bowling from Priyam and alertness from Glory and Poppy and managed to get WGS out scoring only 2. We then played King’s Hawford and they fielded first. We learnt from the mistakes made in the first match and made progress towards 2nd post without being stumped out with nice half rounders being scored. Harriet was really effective at stumping out players at 3rd post and with only 18 bowls we got them out for 3. Overall this was lovely first match and showed the girls in a great light. Winning the triangular overall just topped it off!
Scorer: Glory (1), Ariana (1.5), Elsie (.5), Simran (.5), Maggie (1), Priyam (1), Harriet (.5)
