Reception visited the West Midland Safari Park on Wednesday. The children had a fantastic time spotting camels, rhinos, elephants and cheetahs, to name a few. There was a wonderful moment when one of the giraffes  wandered right up to the coach and peered through the window to be met by twenty very excited little faces peering back! The children took part in a short workshop where they learnt lots of interesting facts about ‘Twiggy’ the stick insect, ‘Rusty’ the corn snake and ‘Agnus’ the Madagascan Tenrec before having a chance to see them up close and stroke them. The highlight of the trip was watching the sea lions showing off their amazing skills in the pool. There was lots of splashing and laughing – a perfect way to end a terrific trip!
