Year 4 had an action packed day on Friday as Team Building Workshops visited Blue Coat, bringing with them over 100,000 Lego bricks. In this exciting cross-curricular activity, pupils worked in teams to build bridges and structures, allowing them to build on work covered in their Art and DT lessons. We had some amazing bridges and structures created; including a fabulous bascule and suspension bridge and realistic model of Windsor Castle. A great day of learning combined with fun and creativity was had by all!

Here are some of the comments from our Year 4 pupils:

Yusuf 4J “ Lego Day was awesome”.

Aadi 4J “ It was the best day ever and I learnt how to make a bridge using string”.

Gabriel 4B “ Since the Lego day, I have been building with my Lego at home every night. I haven’t watched any TV!”

Richard 4B “Every time I look at a Lego brick I will remember this wonderful day!”

Maysoon 4B “Lego Day taught me how to make houses properly!”

Saif 4B “Lego day inspired me to make a plane at home.”
