Parent Workshop: Safety Net – Keeping Children Safe Online
Guest Speaker: Mr Ash Sharma from SKIPS Educational
Tuesday 2nd October 6.00-7.30pm in the School Hall
Parents only.
This is a reminder to all current parents that they are invited to a Parent Workshop about keeping our children safe when they are online. Children today learn how to use technology from an early age and grow up very confident users. They do not, however, always appreciate the risks and dangers of their online activities.
Run by Mr Ash Sharma of SKIPS Educational, the Safety Net workshop aims to raise your awareness of the unseen dangers of the Internet. It does this through hard-hitting discussion and video clips on what children are unknowingly at risk of, and how you can help to keep them safe. At the end of the session you will have gained the confidence and knowledge to start the process of having open discussion with your child at home.
The presentation will be held on Tuesday 2nd October from 6.00pm in the School Hall and will last for approximately ninety minutes. We shall serve refreshments in the School Hall from 5:40pm.
