The children in the three Transition classes have continued to settle in very well. They have been very busy making new friends and learning new routines. As part of their “Understanding the World” topic called, “Little Explorers” they have been doing a range of activities to learn about themselves and their families as well as finding their way around their new environment. Activities have been many and varied and have included making good use of the Early Years playground, going on a discovery walk around school, painting self-portraits, doing “magic” colour-changing handprints, looking at photographs and drawing members of their families.
