The Friends’ Christmas Fayre is just around the corner!

Saturday 1st December 12pm-4pm

Santa’s Secret Gift Shop

Formerly known as the Secret Room this is an opportunity for children to choose a present for Mummy and/or Daddy and to bring it home wrapped and labelled ready to put under the Christmas tree. This year Santa is opening his Secret Gift Shop for one day only at the Christmas FayrePlease note children will no longer be taken out of class to choose their gifts during school hours. Only the children are allowed inside, and there will be lots of familiar faces including Pre-Prep staff, Chaplain and willing mums who will assist your child in choosing a wonderfully personal gift. If you would like your child to take part in this magical Christmas Gift shopping experience please purchase your vouchers in advance of the Christmas Fayre via the online ticketing system. You will need to provide your child’s name and year group and who the gift is for. Gifts are respectfully priced at £6 each. Vouchers will be available via the online ticketing service until November 26th. Vouchers should be purchased in advance of the Fayre to allow the elves to prepare. A maximum of two gifts can be purchased per child. We hope to help you have a lovely surprise to open on Christmas Day!

Santa’s Grotto

Come and visit Santa in his “Once upon a Christmas …” Grotto! As in previous years Santa will join us at The Blue Coat School Christmas Fayre. We have listened to parent feedback from previous events and have changed the ticketing process. This year tickets will be sold in advance of the fayre via the school online ticketing service and will have time slots attached to them. This will make Santa’s grotto run more smoothly and hopefully avoid the long waiting times we have had in previous years. Please note that there will be no tickets for Santa’s Grotto available on the day. All tickets will have to be purchased online in advance on a first come first served basis. Tickets will be priced at £3.00 per child. Each child will need their own ticket but multiple tickets can be bought for the same time slot. The ticketing site will ask for the child’s name and year group so that Santa knows who is coming to see him. Santa will present the children with a gift and there will be photo opportunities. Tickets will be limited. Buy your children’s tickets here now to avoid disappointment!

We would also be delighted if you could help us with preparations in any of the following ways –

Wrap a gift – 23 November at 8.30am in the Boardroom
Bring a bottle for the tombola – 23 November
Bake a cake – 30 November or on the day
Volunteer your time on the day by clicking here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
