The hall was alive on Monday morning with the shouts and roars of Roman warriors as Year 3 began their new Humanities topic with a Roman Day. During the day, the workshops provided the children with an insight into what everyday Roman life was like for men and women, discovering many interesting facts along the way! Children also had the opportunity to learn what it was like to be a Roman soldier and even got to act out their own battle against their enemies – The Celts!

We had such an enjoyable day and learnt invaluable knowledge to help us along in our learning!
