A fantastic week of music-making has come to an end. 151 pupils have taken part in this year’s festival, with 86 going through to the semi-finals next Wednesday. It has been a distinct privilege for me to hear such talented young performers, and the competition to crown the BCS Young Musician of the Year 2019 is wide open. The Gala Concert takes place on Wednesday 20 March at 6.00pm – all are welcome to attend.
