U9A Cricket v Solihull School

Result: BCS win by 13 runs

Report: A brilliant start to the Cricket season saw the U9As comfortably take control of all aspects of the game against Solihull. Fielding first, Harris opened the bowling with a selection of fast and spin bowling. Everyone was able to soon pick up a good line and length with a total of 5 wickets claimed. Dylan and Harris opened up the batting confidently accumulating a total of 31 runs together not out. Jai and Konark followed hitting a total of 23 and loosing 1 wicket. Finally Oliver and Jack hit a total of 19 runs with two wickets taken. A positive start with plenty to work on, but with the attitude shown on the pitch, this team should do very well this season.

U9B Cricket v Solihull School

Result: BCS win by 33 runs
Most Valued Player: Harry Forty
Report: The U9B team put in a fantastic performance to beat Solihull comprehensively. Harry Fortey hit the ball forcefully to all parts and our running between the wickets was excellent frequently putting Solihull under pressure in the field. Everybody bowled well with Joel Drake managing a maiden! Overall a great team performance well done!

Report: The U9C team completed a clean sweep for the U9s with a powerful display of hitting. Kush Rupal starred with the bat, whilst Gurtej Hunjan bowled well tearing into the Solihull batting lineup.
