Pre-Prep musicians delivered another outstanding concert on Tuesday 14th May. I was amazed and delighted by the variety of instruments we listened to, including: violins, viola, trumpet, guitar, drums, piano, flute, voice and clarinet. To think that these children are all under 7 years old is really quite incredible!
All of the children performed with technical skill and maturity. To play in front of so many people at such a young age is a true accomplishment. Most importantly, the children clearly enjoyed what they were doing and were keen to share this with the audience.
All who attended greatly enjoyed listening to such a wide variety of instruments and I am excited to see the children’s ability and enjoyment blossom further next term and beyond.
As always, I am very grateful to Miss Akehurst for her wonderful organisation of the concert and to the VMTs for their hard work and dedication.
I am looking forward to our next Pre-Prep recital on the 11th June. Due to 50 applicants for this recital, we needed another one!
