The weather was kind to us on Tuesday morning, so Pre Prep finally got to complete their Sports Day. The event began with a Baton Relay with a child from each class running to the next class all the way around the track before reaching Mrs Andrews to signify the start of the event. The children then completed a carousel of activities including agility races, hockey dribbling, obstacle races, the traditional egg and spoon event plus a sprint. There were many stations, so the children (and teachers!) were grateful for one station to be a refreshment stall to get a well-deserved drink and biscuit! After the carousel of events, the Years 1 and 2 took part in their year group relay races which the younger children watched in awe as these children ran like lightning past them. Well done to the winning classes, 1M and 2W.
Sports Day finished with a Banner Parade where each class paraded their banner down the length of the track to cheers from parents. What a fantastic morning. Well done everyone!
