On Saturday 6th July the bigger children in The Blue Coat School community let their hair down, donned their ball gowns and Black Tie and masks for The Blue Coat School Masquerade Summer Ball. The evening kicked off with a drinks reception in the Skye Gallery on the 16th floor of the Park Regis Birmingham. Prosecco, Nosecco and canapés were enjoyed by all, accompanied by a beautiful view and a brilliant saxophone player. The table decorations complemented the masquerade theme and after dinner the night was danced away to the sounds of an amazing band and DJ.

Thank you to all of those involved in the organisation and to everyone who came and embraced the masquerade theme in making the evening such a great success!

On a separate note, The Friends are busy collecting donations of good condition second hand uniform for their Uniform Shop. Also welcome are Christmas jumpers and dressing up clothes for WOW days e.g. Tudor costumes. Please take the opportunity over the summer to sort through any unwanted items and donate to school via main reception, the Houses or the Pre-Prep Office.

Thank you!
