Aashani Shah in Year 3 is about to celebrate her 8th birthday tomorrow but on this occasion rather than looking forward to her own birthday presents, she has chosen to give a very special gift to another child. At the weekend she visited the hairdressers and had 40 cm of her hair cut off for charity. Remembering a former pupil Natasha Page, also a member of St. Margaret’s House, Aashani was inspired to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children and young adults that have lost their hair through illness. Well done Aashani for living out the Blue Coat Values and showing such kindness to others, we are very proud of you.
