Following on from the assembly themes last half term, 6RS explored how God is faithful and a friend to us in times of need. Through the telling of the story of David and Goliath, we learnt how David gained confidence to defeat the formidable Goliath as he knew God was with him always. There were scenes of incredible acting throughout the assembly and Goliath’s roar was certainly one to contend with! Ending with a fantastic performance of ‘Yes and Amen’ by Chris Tomlin, the children certainly did themselves (and their teacher) proud.
Well done to all of the children in 6RS for such a brilliant assembly.
