6RA delivered an astonishing assembly to be remembered for all things musical and very clearly delivered the message of how music can bring joy to our lives. Friday 22 November marks St. Cecilia’s day and in honour of this, we were invited to deliver the assembly about the many ways music unites people. We even managed to host our very own BCS’ ‘Name That Tune’ game show with two very lovely, willing and not competitive at all contestants, Mrs James and Mr Matthews! We had some special 6RA live performers playing the guitar while singing; we were also treated to some classical violin pieces. Furthermore, through the telling of King Saul and David, we learnt how the harp soothed him at his times of need. A fabulous assembly showcasing many talented young individuals. Well done 6RA!
