On Wednesday of this week, Year 5 had the wonderful job of recreating the Taj Mahal using only sticks and rubber bands. The activity kicked off with a fascinating presentation from Freya from Year 6, who gave the Year 5 children a wonderful insight into the making of the spectacular building. The children looked at how to build different shapes using the bands and sticks, and then had to work together to put their individual pieces together. The children used all of their creative ingenuity ensuring the structure stood up unaided and proudly showed off their hard work for all to see. A big thank you to Martin from Architecture Workshops for inspiring the children throughout his time here.
