St Margaret’s have chosen NICE (National Institute of Conductive Education) as our Charity for 2020. On Wednesday some of our House Officers visited the charity to see the work they are involved with. We were welcomed by Annie, part of the fundraising team and she chatted to us about the work of the charity, which supports disabled children and adults suffering from neurological movement disorders. NICE have to raise over £450,000 each year to keep functioning.

We were welcomed into one of the classes at the Red Boots School at NICE and enjoyed seeing the children having maths and english lessons. We chatted to the children about our plans for raising money for their school and they really liked the idea of our planned cake sale! It was great to be able to see the work of the charity and it has really spurred us on to try our best to raise as much as we can for this worthwhile charity. St Margaret’s have launched our “NICE Challenge” this week and the girls are looking forward to half term when they can start  fundraising. Good Luck everyone!
