As part of their RE Curriculum Year 6 have visited two Churches this term St Augustine’s and St Stephen’s. They have been finding out about Christian Worship and the different environments in which this can take place. St Augustine’s is an older more formal Church with beautiful decorative features which the children enjoyed observing. St Stephen’s is more informal and the children found it a warm and welcoming place used for many different purposes. The children have discussed the differences between the Churches and why people choose different places for their worship.
