Although Year One have only just returned from half term on Monday, IM rose to the challenge of learning their lines and performing an assembly for KS1 children today. Our theme was ‘Respect’ which gave them pause for thought when thinking about the types of job that might be considered more worthy of respect than others. The story of Zaccheaus was central to the assembly as we considered how Jesus had sought out the least respected members of society and listened to them. The children confidently delivered their lines and acted their parts extremely well.
