This week Year 3 were lucky enough to have a lesson with Mr Moss learning how to make bread. In humanities, Year 3 have been studying the Stone Age and how at the end of the Stone Age humans began to settle in one place and began farming. Wheat was a key crop and bread a staple food as farming grew. Mr Moss explained the ingredients needed to make bread and how yeast makes the bread rise. Everybody got to knead and shape the dough, creating their very own bread roll to enjoy with their dinner on Thursday. Baking really brought our farming topic to life and Year 3 would like to pass on their thanks to Mr Moss and his team for helping us. P.S. The bread was delicious!
