The Year 2 children are making their way to Bethlehem to tell the Nativity Story through rhyme, narration and dance. Mary and Joseph meet a very busy innkeeper who has no room for them. Luckily they find a kind gentlemen who leads them to the only available space; a draughty stable. Once baby Jesus is born, the visitors begin to arrive. The shocked shepherds have followed the bright star bringing their precious sheep as gifts. The wise men travel from far off lands in search of the new king and apart from a brief meeting with an angry King Herod, they have a safe journey and are delighted to meet the new baby king. Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed remembering the true meaning of Christmas whilst brilliantly performing their play. Well done children!
