As a nice break from school work, we are delighted to announce the first BCS Cook-Along! Mr Moss will be in the Blue Coat Kitchen next Thursday evening and invites you to join him via Zoom to bake some delicious goodies!

For our launch night, we are keeping things simple so that all ages can join in (although we do ask for an adult to be close at hand and supervise the cooking part). So that you can plan ahead we have included a list of ingredients for your weekend shopping list:

Ingredient List

220g Margarine or butter

220g Demerara or golden caster sugar

45g or 3.5 tbsp golden syrup

350g rolled oats

Optional extras – dried fruits, dessicated or shaved coconut, glace cherries, seeds or chocolate drops

If you have not already guessed, we will be making…Flapjack!

This should provide you with a nice morning snack in between your studies and to share with your family.
