We are extremely proud to learn of yet another fabulous example of one of our pupils using their energy and initiative to help others. Milo in Year 5, together with his sister and 3 cousins, have set themselves a challenge to walk 2.5 million steps between them during Lent. They are doing this in memory of their Grandad who they sadly lost to cancer in June last year.

The funds raised will be donated to  the Georgina Unit at Russells Hall Hospital who took amazing care of Milo’s ‘G-Grand’. In 2016, Milo and his sister Megan also spent an afternoon at Russells Hall selling their old toys to raise money. This latest challenge will mean that Milo and his relatives need to achieve 55,000 steps or 11km a day between them.
