Children across the whole school have been doing a fantastic job collecting for this term’s charity ‘Let’s Feed Brum’. Last half term ended with a non-uniform day, which raised hundreds of pounds for the charity, and many children have taken their own initiative doing jobs, giving up pocket money and organising sponsored events to top up their Smartie tubes and jam jars!
Nirvan in Year 4 has particularly impressed us this week, with his amazing fundraising efforts. Nirvan is planning to climb the Malvern Hills once lockdown restrictions have lifted, and has already raised a staggering £525 for the charity. You can donate more here. He has nearly reached his goal of £750 and we are so proud of his efforts and his commitment to play his part in helping the homeless in our city. In his own words, ‘I think the people living on the street also deserve the love and care we seek.’ Well done Nirvan!
During our Easter services on the final week of term, we shall be gathering up all our donations and celebrating the huge difference we can make when we join together!
