Nursery have had such a fun week based around Dinosaurs which started with a real buzz of excitement on Monday when a visitor left behind some footprints and eggs. The eggs were extra special as with a little water they hatched and we are now hoping that they will grow into little dinosaurs we can play with. Watching this happen led to lots of scientific talk and allowed us to introduce National Science Week to the children. We also explored lots of other changes in materials such as cornflower changing from power to a paste, ice melting into water and shaving gel turning into a foam. It has been such a wonderful week of exploration and the children have really enjoyed the messy play opportunities.
