We published our list of winners and highly commended performers last week. We have been thrilled to have live music back in School this week, as our Class winners performed to their respective year groups.
The level of proficiency across all our performers was absolutely magnificent, and we will share a video of the finalists with you. With the restructuring of this year’s event, we decided not to select one overall Young Musician of the Year. GIven the challenges the children have overcome, taking part and celebrating each and every performer was the ultimate aim.
My thanks go to all the children who entered (136 in total), and to their instrumental music teachers who prepared the children so very well. We are looking forward to the 2022 Festival already.
