For British Science Week earlier this month, each child in Prep was set the task of producing a piece of work linked to the national theme: Innovating for the Future. The submissions have been incredible, ranging from generating energy from our own movement, a home-made 3d-printed catapult, a water-powered car, vaccine pills, voice-activated pens, new gaming technologies and a Covid-free coat! Children also addressed key issues including plastic pollution and the use of robotic litter-collectors. Some celebrated the work of inventors, such as Edison. The children demonstrated scientific ingenuity and imagination, giving us an exciting vision of the future.
